Days after being taken first overall by the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark is expected to sign an “eight-figure” endorsement deal with Nike, including her own signature shoe.

Clark had an NIL deal with Nike as a college player at Iowa, but it concluded at the end of the Hawkeyes’ season, allowing her to become a sneaker free agent.

The deal is reportedly worth over $20 million, according to NBA Insider Shams Charania.

Every Shoe Brand from Adidas to Under Armour pursued Clark, The Athletic reported.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry even sat in on Under Armour’s pitch to Clark.

The two players have been compared closely because of their creative style of play and exceptional long-range shooting ability.

South Carolina freshman phenom guard MiLaysia Fulwiley recently signed a multi-year NIL deal with Under Armour’s Curry Brand.

South Carolina beat Iowa in the Womens NCAA National Championship Game April 7. 

Clark set numerous records at Iowa while consistently breaking television ratings and selling out arenas nationwide.

Monday’s WNBA draft was the league’s most-watched event in 20 years, drawing 2.5 million viewers.
