🔗 Dept. of Justice Files Lawsuit Against Apple

The US Dept. of Justice filed an Antitrust lawsuit against Apple revolving around how it uses its ecosystem to build a monopoly.

The DOJ alleges that Apple blocks “super” apps, suppresses Cloud Streaming Services, blocks Cross-Platform Messaging Apps, limits 3rd-party Digital Wallets, and limits how well 3rd-party Smartwatches work on its platforms.

This is the third Suit that The DOJ has sued Apple for antitrust violations since 2010.

“Apple has smothered an entire industry,” says New Jersey Deputy AG Lisa Monaco during a recent press conference.
